A few months ago we reported on the great work that Costa Rica has been doing with our shelters to prepare for regional natural disasters. Costa Rica's Type 1 Emergency Medical Team (EMT) is the first of its kind to be certified in the Americas by the Pan American Health Organization and the World Health Organization. In a disaster scenario this team can serve 100 patients per day, and operate independently for up to two weeks.

During a recent field exercise the Costa Rica Type 1 EMT took 360 degree photos of their Western Shelter facility to serve as a virtual tour. We couldn't have asked for a better way to show off our equipment in a deployed state. Click the button below to take the tour for yourself!
