Visit from Willamette HS

Last week, local Eugene students visited our factory to see how the skills that they’re learning in math class ultimately will translate to the real world.

Using geometric formulas and measuring tape, the freshmen and sophomores from Willamette High School figured out the area of a GateKeeper 20 shelter.

Students then took a tour of the factory, and were given a presentation about the skills required to work at a company such as ours, once leaving high school.

Thank you to Willamette High School for visiting and we hope to see some of you working at Western Shelter in the future!
