Western Shelter deploys its recently completed Role II Field Hospital in eastern Africa.

Shots of Western Shelters appeared in Hollywood once again. A GateKeeper 1935 was featured prominently on the season finale of “Station 19”, an action-drama show on ABC about the lives of the men and women at the fictional Station 19 firehouse in Seattle.

Warmer weather can bring tougher working conditions. Even slightly elevated temperatures can bring an increased risk of heat stroke, dehydration, exhaustion, and more.

As hurricane season continues to approach, teams around the country continue their preparations. Over the weekend, several members of the Western Shelter Training team were in New Orleans for a training seminar with Delta-1 DMAT.

Our eastern U.S. sales manager Jayson was in West Palm Beach, Florida recently for training with the ESF-8 Health and Medical Team. The team set up their cache of trailers and shelters, which (unsurprisingly) remained in great shape.

A cache of new Western Shelters recently were set up for the first time in sunny California, deployed for the installation at the Morongo Band of Mission Indians reservation.
